Become a certified AHA Heartsaver Provider or AHA BLS Provider so you have the foundational knowledge and skills needed to teach others.
Step 2 — Complete Instructor Essentials
Take the required BLS or Heartsaver Instructor Essentials Course . This online module covers teaching methods, AHA policies, and how to effectively lead CPR classes.
Step 3: Schedule Your Instructor Course
