Updated AHA Student-to-Instructor Ratios

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

    Instructor ratios should not exceed 6:1

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

    Instructor ratios should not exceed 6:1

  • Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED

    Instructor ratios should not exceed 6:1 and manikin ratio should not exceed 3:1

    Classes with 6 or more students require an additional instructor

    Please check rosters hours before submitting.

AHA Training Centers issuing the Heartsaver for K-12 Schools eCards must obtain written approval from a parent/guardian before gathering data on-line from students under the age of 13.
