Preparing for Your CPR Class
Taking an American Heart Association (AHA) course soon? Here are a few important things to know before class day — from how to register to what to bring and wear.
The following information is adapted from official AHA guidance to help you feel confident and prepared for your CPR or BLS training session.
-
You can register and pay for your class directly through our Classes Page (← update this link to match your actual page URL). There, you’ll find upcoming CPR and BLS course dates, pricing, and registration options.
Our classes follow official American Heart Association (AHA) training guidelines, and completion includes an AHA certification card.
Note: AHA Training Centers, like ours, are independent businesses authorized to provide AHA courses using current materials and standards.
-
CPR and first aid training includes hands-on skills practice, so wear comfortable clothing you can move in. If you have long hair, it’s best to tie it back.
-
Ask your Training Center first — many provide the required course materials as part of your registration.
-
No. Each student must have their own current and appropriate manual or workbook for use before, during, and after the course.

-
If you’re taking a blended learning course, you’ll need to finish the AHA’s online portion before attending your hands-on skills session. You’ll receive a completion certificate to bring or email to your instructor.
For traditional in-person courses, no online work is required. -
We understand that things happen! Please contact us as soon as possible if you’re running late or need to move your registration to another date. Because class sizes are limited, rescheduling or refunds may follow our Cancellation Policy (update link).
